1.)Move the pointer over to the QS2000® Manager icon and double click the left button on the mouse.

2.)Enter " Id and Password " number

3.)Move pointer up to "Database" and left click once

4.)Move pointer down to "Items" and left click once

5.)Move pointer over to the right and left click on "New"

6.)You will get a screen asking if you want to copy values from the record that is in the blue. Enter yes or no. If you enter yes this will copy all the values from that record to the new record with the exception of the UPC number

7.)If you click "no" you will get a blank record

8.)Enter appropriate information for each field. You can "tab" or use the pointer to move to the different fields.

9.)At this time you should also go to the "Ordering" tab and complete the reorder information for the vendor and set reorder levels

10.)You must use the mouse and click "OK" to save your work.
